A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ENGINEERING MANAGER As an Engineering Manager, you direct all product development, change orders, and production support with your team of engineering staff.
You initiate and oversee significant manufacturing projects, ensuring they achieve our cost reduction targets and support our long-term growth.
Taking the lead on product development, you coordinate key strategic launches and work directly with customers to determine how we can best meet their needs.
You're always looking for ways to improve our efficiency and reduce our environmental impact, and you develop and implement process improvement plans to achieve these goals.
In addition to managing processes, you manage people.
You provide strong leadership, setting high standards and coaching your staff.
Under your leadership, your team has a positive atmosphere, an open-door policy, and zero harassment.
